days/hours i work

hi!
my name is d and i love your blog (along with the other thousands out there). i was hoping you could help me out with a few questions..
are you able to set your own hours/days to work?
is it ever an issue getting more than the minimum 24 hrs/week of work? i know this matters especially when one is paid hourly.
do you know if the 3.3% tax on hourly also applies to monthly?
anything would be helpful. thank you!

are you able to set your own hours/days to work?cdi runs classes in terms, each term is 13 weeks long. you can request what you want, but it will depend on what the other teachers want, as well as what classes are needed (since not every teacher is trained on how to teach every class).

is it ever an issue getting more than the minimum 24 hrs/week of work? i know this matters especially when one is paid hourly.this depends on the branch and number of students. wheni first got to cdi, i'd always ask for 4 days a week and i'd get 5. now, i get the 4 day week i ask for, most of the time. sometimes there are more students, so they need more teachers.

do you know if the 3.3% tax on hourly also applies to monthly?dunno. maybe ask the cdi recruiter.
