Hello SHA,

My name is Stacey. Kenna said I could check with you on the Company you work for (Teaching in Korea). I'm interested in finding out as much as I can about Teaching in Korea, but I'm not sure if I really want to take the leap just yet. Please fill me in when you get a chance.

hi stacey! i miss keena so friggin bad. tell her to join you, and you guys can come to korea together :)

the company i work for is called cdi. it is different from most korea jobs. most jobs, they give you free housing, health insurance, severance/pension, holidays off, and paid vacation. i dont get these with cdi, but i am paid more per hour, therefore making more money overall... tho it doesnt feel like it sometimes :) also, with cdi, the curriculum is set, so i dont really do much work/prep outside of the classroom. cdi teachers work 6 hours a day.

i suggest reading
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/
and
http://expatkorea.com/bbs/

they are popular forums about living/working in korea, read the FAQ. ignore all the negative, it's mostly white people who have trouble not being in the majority/living without their white privilege they're used to having. if you want to know more about cdi, just type CDI using the search function. dont type more than that, it seems that if you use more than one word, the search function doesnt work.

should you have more specific questions, you can email me anytime.
