Subject: Single Mom teacher
Greetings Sister,
How are you? I am researching a move to Korea. I plan to get TEFL certification. I understand it isn't required in Korea but I prefer for confidence and broader opportunities if I should move. Anyhow, I have wanted to do this for a log time now. I have concerns because I am a single mother of a 6 year old. Just the managing of finding a school for him on the esl salary. Can I work where he attends etc. I have BA and 2 years experience as an assistant teacher at a Montessori. Any advice? Also can you recommend a reliable recruiter. Love to see so many brothers and sisters seeing the world. Korea is my #1 Hanoi my #2.

hi. i know of one other sista, xxx, who brought her 11 yr old daughter with her. are you on facebook? this is her:
xxxxi strongly suggest you talk to her, bringing a child here is quite a challenge.
but let me tell you, also, that my friend xxx is very negative, so take what she says with a grain of salt AND sugar.
read up on eslcafe, ther eare a few people w/families/children who post there:

a google group for moms with babies and toddlers. Maybe they can connect people to others with older kids?
