Hi Supa Dupa,

this is B from back here in the USoA. hi b. I'm thinking of working for Chung Dahm, and I was wondering if you had any words of advice. ok. I'm a bit tentative, because after googling chung dahm I came across a couple of posts from folks who were very disillusioned with CDI. true, but that will be the same for every school you look up. I realize that there will always be those that can't help but whine, and I'm hoping that's the case. i think it is,but i cant say 100% b/c cdi is the only korea job ive had, and i've nothing to compare it to. (Although one in particular claimed to have waited 6 weeks after arrival in Korea for first paycheck-yikes) yes, that is true. you wont get your first paycheck for about 6 weeks.after that, you're paid on the 10th of every month.i've never been paid late.

I'd love to hear your take on the Chung dahm experience, and I hope you can relieve my anxiety. i really love it so far. but i did have prior teaching experience before i got here, so dealing with the kids wasnt an issue for me. i really adore them, they;'re smart and it's a joy for me to be in the classroom. many of my coworkers dont feel that way, tho. did you see the "update on cdi" forum on eslcafe? i tihnk it gives a pretty good pros/cons of cdi. Thanks for your time, B youre welcome. ask me anything, anytime.
