Subject: CDI questions
Hi Supa Dupa Fly (love that name),
My name is H and I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I found your blog when I was researching for schools to teach in Korea. CDI seems like a safe school to teach in after hearing all those horror stories about hagwons. Your blog is great! I think it's really helpful for prospective esl teachers. My question to you is about the essay part. Hahahaha! Cindy Park also contacted me when I posted my resume online!!! She sent me a list of essay topics. She said I have to write an essay on one of the topics. After writing the essay, do I have to write another one at the interview? A person I know taught for CDI and she said at the interview she had to complete a grammar test and an essay on the spot. But then again, she was already residing in Korea so maybe that's why. Anyway, any advice or information would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
Regards,
H
p.s. can you tell i'm freakin' out over this? i usually do when i apply for jobs
